Communication

picoTera's communication solutions give you private, full-duplex communication with better coverage at a lower cost.

picoNet - You See You Talk

Featured in:

picoNet is picoTera's short-range private communication solution.

  1. No internet required

Unlike PTToC solutions, picoNet doesn't require an internet connection, reducing latency and performing well in areas with poor network coverage.

  2. No more channel lockout

picoNet's short range design compared to regular radio helps prevent unwanted messages from reaching workers far away.

  3. Natural conversation

picoNet enables natural conversation, allowing users to talk and listen simultaneously. This is particularly useful for one-on-one training sessions.

Use case:

picoNet is ideal for daily operations of small teams in construction, sawmills, mining, and tarmac operations.

It's also valuable for training new employees and guiding site visitors.

TeraNet - Comprehensive

Featured in:

TeraNet utilizes advanced communication technology to overcome range and coverage limitations.

  1. Unlimited channel

Unlike traditional radio, TeraNet doesn't consume limited radio spectrum. This allows for an unlimited number of channels without licensing fees.

  2. Unlimited range, exceptional coverage

TeraNet enables communication with offsite offices, across large sites, or even internationally. It solves range and coverage challenges.

  3. Natural conversation

TeraNet enables natural conversations with multiple people, allowing users to talk and listen simultaneously.

Use case:

Multiple picoLink sending to and receiving from other picoLinks

TeraNet is ideal for teams facing coverage and channel limitations.

It enables natural conversations among multiple users, allowing for simultaneous communication.

TeraNet is a versatile solution for effective communication.

picoRelay

Featured in:

picoRelay extends the range of existing radio systems by integrating them with TeraNet.

picoRelay allows users to communicate on 'relayed' radio channels in areas with TeraNet coverage.

  1. Extended coverage

picoRelay combines the range and coverage of picoTera's TeraNet network with your existing radio system.

  2. Compatibility

Many sites must maintain existing radio systems to stay connected with visitor trucks.

picoRelay's compatibility with these systems enables such setups.

  3. Enhanced Quality

picoRelay enhances audio sent from picoLink to the radio system using picoTera's advanced noise cancellation.

Use case:

picoRelay's ability to extend existing radio networks is ideal for areas with spotty signals or dead zones.

It's a suitable solution for teams with existing radio infrastructure or those hesitant to fully transition to a new system.

picoRelay solves coverage issues while maintaining compatibility with existing systems.

Noise Cancellation

Featured in:

picoTera's advanced noise cancellation ensures clear communication in environments up to 120dB

Industries with high noise levels, such as construction, mining, sawmills, and aviation, require workers to use hearing protection devices

Traditional noise cancellation for two-way radios can be expensive and often combined with hearing protection.

picoTera's advanced noise cancellation removes background noise up to 120dB while preserving your voice.

When paired with picoLink, you can use your own custom-molded earplugs or earmuffs without compromising outgoing audio quality.
